At Vintry & Mercer, we understand that travelling with children in London can sometimes be difficult. That is why we have organised a range of family-oriented services to make your time with us as simple and stress-free as possible.
Exploring London can be tough on little legs, but with our location — just walking distance from the St Pauls Cathedral , Borough Market and so many more attractions — you have easy access to some of the capital’s best destinations for children.
We also have a tube station right outside if you want to explore further afield. Our reception team is at your disposal to assist with booking any family activities in London, as well as organising babysitting services.
You don’t even need to leave the hotel to enjoy a whole host of incredible food and drink experiences – every level of Vintry & Mercer has an opportunity to try something delicious. Offering stunning views of the London skyline from the Dome of St Paul’s to the tip of the Shard, our Mercer Roof Terrace is open from 12pm every day for the best in seasonal British cuisine.
If you’ve been inspired by a trip to one of the royal palaces or parks, or you’re simply feeling peckish, our Crown Afternoon Tea is a great way to celebrate two great British institutions! A luxurious experience that combines an incredible array of sweet and savoury treats, including classics and our own unique creations, all served with tea and champagne and our little guests can enjoy a delicious hot chocolate.
Alternativly you can immerse yourself in a spellbinding afternoon tea experience, where every bite is infused with magic. Our Magic of Afternoon Tea is inspired by some of our favourite characters and stories, expect a mix of myths and magic potions.
We have a range of child-friendly services at Vintry & Mercer.
All Deluxe Rooms, Deluxe Studios and Suites can accommodate an additional cot or fold-away bed (for children up to the age of 12) free of charge, and some rooms can interconnect. In all Deluxe Studio’s and Suites, we offer complimentary a cot or one extra bed for up to one child.
All rooms can come with (on request) child-size bathrobes and slippers, children’s toiletries and activity packs. All our rooms also come with complimentary soft drinks, tea & coffee and free Wi-Fi.
Please note: When installing beds and cots in rooms, we can only accommodate one or the other, not both. Thank you for your understanding.
